Hi! I am having a problem with trojan horse virses.I KEEP GETTING THEM!!!
I have AVG 6.0 free home edition for anti-virus,& I'm running the ZONEALARM
free home edition & I still get different trojans.I update & run both applications daily.I have a Compaq Presario 5000,with intel inside celeron pc,I haveWindows ME,IE 6.0,& SBC Yahoo DSL,& I've done all those updates & still I get "macros"(what is that?) & trojan horse downloader agent & trojan backdoor viruses. I don't understand why my anti virus or firewall are letting them through.I've also noticed that the macros are in C:\ProgramFiles\MicrosoftWorks\1033\WIZARD or in C:\ProgramFiles\MicrosoftOffice\Templates\1033& that the virus itself is in C:\WINDOWS\TEMP\WINHOS-I:EXE .
My anti-virus will heal it ,only to get it back again.Can somebody please give me any advice ,I would greatly appreciate it.Thanks in advance. tinydancer
