Owen many thanks for your help in trying to solve my pc problem.I had before i found this site got in touch with someome to sort the pc out.Unfortunately they could not do this and was advised the easiest way round it was to re-install xp.Well that has been done and we are back up and running (at a cost of £60 ).
I will keep an eye on this site as it is full of info and helpfull,many thanks once again, Spike.

. You can see where these folks make their money, hope you don't mind me saying but thats a bit of a rip off.
My friend is always asking me to sort out and format his PC. I were saying to him the other day that if I charged him, I'd probably be around £300 better off after all I've done for him.
