    You're welcome, that's a clean log now.

I recommend you download these free progams to protect yourself in the future.

    SpywareBlaster
Protects against bad ActiveX and prevents Spyware being installed in the first place.
Check for updates once a fortnight.

    SpywareGuard
Will alert you to any attempted change to your browser settings and acts like an anti-virus program but for Spyware. It will also alert you if you download anything untoward.

    IE-SPYAD
Puts over 5000 sites in your restricted zone so you'll be protected when you visit innocent-looking sites that aren't actually innocent at all.

    * Keep your anti virus software updated, scan weekly with Spybot and Ad-Aware and be careful what you download.

    Merry Xmas.

Did you reboot before posting your last log?

Despite saying that you've used an Uninstaller, for my own peice of mind, can you please download and run THIS LOP.Com Uninstaller. Close ALL windows and run the uninstaller TWICE.

    Then have HijackThis fix these....

    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [STUPIDCOALSITEBLEH] C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\first ref stupid coal\dumbamok.exe

    Reboot into Safe Mode

Go to C:\DOCUME~1\Matthew\APPLIC~1 and delete TICKWA~1 <--Entire Folder starting with these 6 letters

Go to C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data and delete first ref stupid coal <--Entire Folder

Reboot and post a fresh log.

ok great!!! I will have to sort it 2moro now!!!

Would it be best to perform the actions in "Matthews" profile... the other scans were performed in a different profile!!! I assume the outcome of a HiJack This scan would be the same???

I will have to try and sort it out in the morning anyways.. so would be great to hear from you!!!

Many Thanks again for your time!

That would explain the slight differences I noticed in your last log.

Yes, please run HJT in Matthew's user profile until we've cleaned it, then any other accounts you may have on the machine. Each must be cleaned individually.
