    Re: LOP.com AARRGH! Please help

Your LOP infection has probably come from Messenger Plus. When you installed MessengerPlus, there was some information about a sponsor program and this is LOP. When you agree to it, LOP will infect your system. It generates randomly named files and creates an IE Toolbar.

If you just first follow the MessengerPlus advice and then the Hijack This advice and then we'll deal with the other things afterwards.

I understand but when you have cleaned the log from the above, will it be off the computer all together?

Save 20% on AVG Internet Security 2012 Suite!
Looking better, but still a bit more to do.

Download searchbar.zip. Unzip it and double click the file inside. You will be asked to confirm the merge with the registry. Click Yes. Then you should get a successful message.

Close all browser windows, restart Hijack This and put a checkmark next to the following entries:

    O2 - BHO: (no name) - {2BF9CE91-00F0-6EED-D585-FBE3FBE6C9EB} - C:\DOCUME~1\TEMP\APPLIC~1\SCRWAR~1\Deaf Dent.exe

    Click Fix Checked

Then boot into Safe Mode and ensure that you are showing Hidden Files and Folders.

Delete the following files and folders:
    C:\DOCUME~1\TEMP\APPLIC~1\SCRWAR~1

Reboot and post a fresh log
