please help i keep getting pop ups when ive just logged on saying spybot has identified a poblem file called 'double click' and now my pc is shutting down after being logged on the net for periods.

DoubleClick is not a threat to be worried about. Its just a tracking cookie and these are not dangerous. If you don't want the prompts from Spybot, follow these instructions.

1. Open Spybot
2. Click Immunize
3. Scroll down to the "Permanently Running bad download blocked for Internet Explorer".
4. Click the down arrow and select Block all bad pages silently from the drop down menu.

i have another problem now my screen keeps flickering and my pc is running slow and itfreezes at different times.
my drivers are all up to date but i cant figure it out i thought i had been hijacked!!
Should i just format all and start again?

Wouldn't recommend it. Its a pain in the neck.

When you say flickering, do you mean the screen will go all fuzzy then back to normal and sometimes pinkish and then back?

Its a bit weird as always! lol!
somtimes screen goes fuzzy other times it goes black for couple of seconds or sometimes just hangs.
if im just using the net like now its as above but if
if im trying to run a game computer hangs ctrl alt & del dont work i have to turn of at the power source.
