We've been blessed with about:blank in our browser, I realise this may be treading old ground but we're fresh to this, can anyone help please.

Pull up the website you want as your home page.

(I use http://www.google.co.uk)

On the top of IE <Tools><Internet Options>

then click <use current> to insert the webpage u r viewing or type in the URL of whatever you want as the default page.

well gats I always use about:blank when opening I.E., I don't want to give a hit to a site I have no interest in that period of time in visiting. Problem is, a previous version of adaware, which is adaware 6.181 in it's updates see's it as a browser hijack. If you don't use the new version adaware se, add it to ignore list, in the new version however, you can set in setting to ignore this by putting in about:blank as you I.E. start page, no biggie, don't worry about it that much.
