I can't download or print anyhing off the internet.This includes hijack this. I have tried norton, panda, spybot,spykiller,and a couple others. After I put spyware killer on the hard drive runs continuosly.I'm sure this is a bug Ive picked up along te way I just can't get rid of it.I'm running xp pro with the newest IE.Thanks steele109

This depends which SpyKiller you downloaded, there is a legit and bad version of it. Right, what we will have to do is send you some files via email, including Hijack This and a Spyware Scanning program (a small one). You will have to use an emaill client on your computer (such as Outlook Express) and not webmail. Please send me an email to the address in my profile confirming that you want these files sent to you and please send me email using the address that use with your email client. I do this so that you know the attachments are from a legit source.

If you don't have an email address you use with Outlook Express, I'll set one up for you (it will be an email address from my website @isecurity.org.uk).

So you mean that email account uses webmail and not an email client?

YES it says at the top of the page bellsouth web email but I can open attachments with it.I use a fast cable connection with my old dial up email address.I have to go to work but I would like to continue tommorow if possible.Steele109

I have sent you an email to the address in your profile confirming that you want the attachments Hijack This and another small spyware removal program sending. When you receive the attachments after you have confirmed my email, first run the file xclean_micro.exe and clean any spyware it finds. Then run hijackthis.exe and generate a log (instructions are in the link in my signature). Post the log here.

No luck the computer wouldn't let me open them.When I clicked on them the curser blinked and came right back just like when I try to down load from the web.However I was able to download and print things off the states game and fish sight.This is the only thing I have been able to download and print.I think they used adobe.steele109

Right, could you please press Ctrl+Shift+Esc to bring up task manager, click the Processes tab and tell me all running processes. Something is trying to kill off Hijack This.
