Question can I connect netbook to TV?

I havejust returned from round the world trip and have over 3000 photos organised in about 30 folders on my computer. (they are also on a USB stick) I do not really want to burn 30 DVD's! I would like to view them on my TV, which is not a flat screen or HD and has the 3 coloured sockets. Is this possible and what cable/s would I need??

    Many thanks

If it's a new TV (HD suggests this) it would probably have a HDMI input.
    Looks like this

If your TV got that, all you need to do is buy a cable that is compitable with your netbook.
    Look for this (DVI)

    Or this(VGA)

To know what the other end should look like. And then in the store you can simply ask: Can I get a cable with HDMI to DVI/VGA (depending on which plug you got on the computer)

Sorry for all the big pictures, don't fully know this editor yet

jdh I think PlayFoLife might have confused you. You don't have either of those cables on the back of your tv, so I can help you out. The easiest way to do this is to get a tv to pc converter. You can get that at your local RadioShack I think they're $69.99.

And PlayFoLife the HDMI is a High definition cable, and VGA is only a analog cable. So taht one wont work. the DVI will however.
