Why do you need it? Are you getting an error pertaining it? Please tell us what is going on and more about your system. You should NEVER ever download dll's from the web because they could have been maliciously modified. The only safe place to get a dll would be microsoft's website and as far as I know they don't do that. In addition replacing that file might not help anyway because one, it might not be the problematic file in the first place and two, it might not be the only file that has a problem. Please answer the questions below as much as possible.

The file is missing from Roxio Easy Media Creator 7 at first I was having problems with the installer got that fix by reinstalling the program and now its missing file msvcr71.dll
I did a scannow sfc but still the same. I removed the probram and reinstall and still missing file and now I am here looking for a solution That is all that I have done

So this isn't a windows problem? Please clarify. If not are you installing that from a cd or from a download? If it is a download I would download it again. SFC only scans system files. This was at the bottom of the page. http://www.d-a-l.com/help/windows-xp...vcr71-dll.html

If this is a newly purchased program you should take it to the store you bought it from and ask for an exchange.
