'Just musing of course, but HERE is a nice alarm clock that I recently purchased, small and light, suitable for travel or home; it's only $6.15 total, but it takes almost 2 weeks to arrive from Hong Kong (to the USA). It uses 3 AAA batteries.

I like the Seiko because I have their wrist watches from the 1970s and they still are working.

The other one looks nice to. But I like reliability and Seiko has proved it reliability to me.
