Oh this is tough... Perhaps you can increase the options? Divide windows into more versions, linux into more and add in Mac? I might be able to answer the poll easier that way lol.

I wasn't going to answer this poll, this being mainly a Windows forum. But, I aint afeared of much. So here is my vote. Being one of the few linux users on this forum whadya think I was gonna vote for. My Wife runs Windows, and I am the one that keeps her system uninfected and running. So I am not stuck in a linux shell with blinders on. I work with both operating systems, and I prefer to do my tasks with Linux. It's faster just for starters. Below is a link explaining why linux is such a better operating system to the point of major conglomerates using it for their operating systems. You are running Linux half the time without even knowing it. Even when running Windows.

Now that all being said. You should have asked monalisa "which operating system is best for the home user computer market at the present day"

My answer would have to have been Windows because all hardware and 90% of Software is designed with Windows in mind. Which makes it easy to install gear and software for the home user. Sometimes. Otherwise we wouldn't have forums like these.

I have yet to see anybody post in Highjack this log forums running a linux operating system.

To close out. I guess I am not a typical home user of a computer. I'm just a OCD Biker/Linux user, GED educated, with a sense of adventure.
