Sounds like either you or who sent the email has a missing or corrupt converter file. Not sure if this is your problem, but that's what it sounds like from what you've said. This should tell you how fix it: WD2000: Error Message: "Word Cannot Start the Converter <File Name>" with a Mail Merge from Outlook
