Re: Does eating fish make you smarter?

Well well, we have quite a lot of information there for those who don't like to eat fish... I knew that pregnant women were recommended to eat healthily, regularaly, and get enough suppliments from all of the food groups, but also Iron must be included in the diet for the baby's development. Battered fish aww, doesn't that half counts? Because at least you're making the effort!
I don't know whether you noticed why this thread was started? I'd turned vegetarian and I was just wondering whether a lack of Omage 3 would make my head less co-operative before my exams started... But I still eat fish, and un-battered too! Woo, sense of achievement lol

Haha, I'm not vegetarian anymore Digitalis When I did my last survival weekend whilst I was away camping, all we had with us was water, tent and cooking equipment for the weekend. That is all. Our dinner was running around in the forest... guess who wasn't prepared to go hungry for those 48 hours. Me and the other 8 or so people lol I know it sounds pretty harsh, but when you're dumped in the middle of no-where with a map and an empty stomach first thing you do is set up camp and start roughing out your plans. You'd be surprised how much consideration it takes to hunt *sigh*

I feel sorry for those who believe the world is caving in on them because they don't have enough "time." Well, that's because they don't use their time or money efficiently and therefore the hours tick by very fast.

I've never been a vegetarian, human beings are omnivores, ie; they eat meat as well as vegetables, prehistoric people were at first flesh eaters, but they learnt to adapt, to cope when hunting was bad, they started eating vegetables, by the way the new theory is that men did not carry clubs & drag their women about by their hair, they were just the opposite, men women & children formed loving communities, anyway, back to the subject in hand, with apologies to any members who are vegetarians, but I'm afraid I don't think going without meat is such a good idea, for example, why do most vegetarians take supplements to make up for the nutrition they've lost?
No doubt the vegetarians among you will try to explain to me the virtues of vegetarianism, & of course they are very welcome to do so, but let me make it clear, I eat a fairly balanced diet consisting of roughly of equal amounts of 50% meat & 50% veg, I don't go in for meals of a large T-bone steak & tiny side salads.
