Hi everyone

Im after some advice.

Im going for a job as a web developer. One of the sections is "Understanding of the World Wide Web and its Technologies"

I read into that .net, JAWS, Javascript, etc...

Would you agree? What are peoples thoughts.

I view it as understanding the communication between the client & the server, cookies and session ID's, security techniques, etc.

would be....

What the WWW consists of, maybe a brief history of where it started, the technologies in making it work and how it has evolved would help you here. (Just a brief understanding)

As bkdc said, understand how the technical side of it works such as - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Www and then explore in more detail some of the fundamental parts which make it work such as security.

Sorry A few years ago when Gore was running for president he claimed that he was one of the main guys involved with inventing the WEB.
