Hi again
I'm having problems posting in a few forums on this site, which is a shame because I've seen a few topics where I could offer some help,

I first noticed this when I tried to post in the Xbox 360 forum, I got this message:
Hersnab: you don't have the rights to post in this forum etc. etc.

It wasn't anything important I was just going to post my gamertag so I forgot about it, but when trying to offer some help in the multimedia forum for someone with a minidisc issue I got the same problem. I haven't had any problems posting in Xp issues, video forum but I haven't tested everyone because I haven't had anything to post until now. Is there a reason for this? Are there closed or locked forums on this site? I cant find anywhere that states I need certain permissions to post in certain forums but would like to help the guy with a minidisc out because I used to use them and think I can help.

Any info would be appreciated thanks

When I first signed on I had the same problem...

Check the little icon to the left of the thread. If the thread is closed with a lock, only an admin. can post to it.

Bottom left of screen, is a box with Posting Rules inside (you may have to expand it with the arrow symbol)

In there it will tell you what you may post.

Threads are automatically closed after 30 days without a reply.

If you have a thread you want reopened just PM a Moderator and say why.
