I currently hire a jolt/clan server for online gaming ( nascar based online racing).
What sort of server equipment would I need of my own to enable me to do away with the hire of a jolt server and more importantly save me £ 200. + a year?
A friend has a pc that he can host around 15 people on, but I am looking at hosting for around 20/25 people at a time.

I am, clueless regarding pcs etc, but have seen ' servers ' advertised for sale on the net and in publications.

Basicly, I would like to know whats size/type of server I would require and what I would need to do to run one/upkeep required for such a thing.
