    Some sound...no sound!!!

    Question: Some sound...no sound!

Hi all! My name's Lumin, I'm new, and I can't figure out this problem for the life of me. I built my own computer for the first time last year. I had some help putting it together, and it works great. The thing is, when I visit some websites, video will play but often I will have no sound. My speakers are turned on, work for my Itunes and cd's/DVD's, and some websites with sound work (ex. MSN Video and such). When I visit YouTube or MySpace or other such websites, I never hear a thing. I've checked my sound devices, and they work fine, and I've made sure my volume is at an adequate level. I have the latest update of Java installed and everything. I'm just stumped, and I've got no one else to ask! Please, does anyone have an idea as to what I'm doing wrong?

    Oh yeah, system specs:

    MSI RX480 Neo2 motherboard

    AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual-Core Processor

    nVidia GeForce 6200TC Video Card

Windows XP Edition w/ Realtek AC97 Audio

    Thanks.

go to control panel in sound, speech, and audio devices click on sound and audio devices an screen should pop up go to the audio tab and make sure the default device is set to the sound card you have got installed.
    this is a common problem

I've lloked at all that stuff in control panel under Sound and Audio devices. I've checked and re-checked time and again to no avail. There has to be some other reason some websites work while others don't. I just can't figure it out.
