I sat for the A+ hardware test yesterday 20th June got 850 on 900 and the passing is 615. There are 100 Questions and 90 minutes to complete.

I just received my new Microsoft Book "Microsoft Certified Desktop Tech" there is only 2 exams to complete and both are just directed at XP. That shouldn't be that hard to pass either test seeing that it only deals with one OS.
There is only 50 question per test.

How much does it cost? And will it give you any better chance of getting a job? It doesn't seem as good as the A+ exam?

When I looked at going for this exam there were a lot of people that had already A+ Hardware passed. To me it goes hand and in hand with the A+ Ceritifaction. I don't think is better not do I think it below the A+ Ceritifaction. The only difference is the this exams is just dealing with XP inwhich high % of companies are using. Thats just imo on it. If anyone has any more thoughts please post.
