    Fire wire card

    G'day all,
    another silly newb question. How do I know if there is a fire wire card in my PC?

    Look in the Device Manager for a reference to IEEE 1394 Bus host controllers

    > right click My Computer > click Manage > click Device Manager

    No problem.

    You can get such a card for about $20 USD. Probably cheaper on-line.
