RASMAN help
G'day all,
I have what is probably a silly noob question, but here goes.
I'm having trouble with a dial up internet connection on my laptop, and I've been searching through the threads looking for a similar problem. I've seen the 'event viewer' and 'rasman logs' mentioned a few times. I've located the event viewer, but how do I find the rasman log?
Thanks,
Steve.

C:\Windows\System32\RAS
Unless you have "turned on" logging in the registry I am not sure there would be a log.
Details here:

What are the specific details of the Event Viewer errors?
There is a particular RASMAN condition as noted here if you are pre XP SP1:

Thanks Jephree,
I'm still working on turning on the ras log. Most of the errors I get which are shown in the System part of the event viewer are 20159, and there are no corresponding events in the Application.
Last night however there were corresponding events in both the System and
Application. (I think they correspond anyway.)
I'm currently on SP2 and I'm nutting through setting up the ras log.
