.In the past couple of days I have been getting a diffrent front page for DAL than the one I used to get. I do not know if it is the front page on my computer that has changed or DAL has changed the front page. I do not like the new format that I am getting at all. You can not find anything anymore. Areas used to be organized and shown on the front page, used to be very easy to go to different sections,they are gone now. I posted a message a few days ago. I am trying to find my message to see if there is any respone. I can not find it. Please put the front page back the way it was. This new front page is not user friendly at all.

If you click your name you have an option to see all your posts.

You can also go right down the bottom left of the page and click thedrop down box for D-A-L Widescreen to have the full width format or the fixed width.

Hi Thanks for your feedback. In reality all we have actually changed is the width of the layout of the site. Everything else that was there is still there but we have tried to make the page look more professional.

I will take your comments onboard though and see if we can try and make it easier for existing members to locate posts they have made.

Thanks for your reply, and thank you for providing this valuable service to us. I realy enjoy visitng the stie. I visit the site for 2 reasons. First to educate myself and learn new things. Second, to try to get help for any problem of my own that will pup up here and then. There are always several threads that are very intersting to me and I like to follow up on them, even though I may not particiapte in them. When the new format came up (which looks more profetional than the one before) the index was lost. As long as the subjects are indexed the way it was befoer and it is easy to find them, everthing is fine for me. It appeared to me that in the new format, all main subjects have been mixed. Once again, thank you very much for great jobs that you are doing.

I fine the new opening page a little confusing. I don't see any place where I can click to go directly to the main forum, so I click on one of the new posts and work backwards. Am I missing something?

I see what you mean. If there is a link there I can't find it. I never go to the main home page usually, the link in my bookmarks takes me directly to the forums.

I agree 100% about not being able to get straight to the forum, I do exactly the same thing!! lol

I will implement some changes today and let you know when they are done.

OK the homepage has changed to hopefully be more user friendly.

Now a logged in member will get a welcome message and a list of the lastest 5 posts made in any thread on the board. This makes tracking of questions for people much easier. A link below this take members direct to the forum homepage.

Secondly a new section at the top left of the hompage now gives a quick link into the major categories.
