I have bought some DVD +R discs. When I insert them in my DVD Drive and go to properties it tells me I have 0 bytes of used space and 0 Bytes of free space. can anyone help?

is ur drive a "DVD/CD-RW Drive"??

it sounds like you dont have a DVD-RW drive (just a DVD ROM or cd-rw)

If you have got a DVD-RW try updating the drivers

do you know the make and model of the drive?

I have 2 drives Sony DVD RW DW-D22A AND HL-DT-ST DVDRRW GSA-2166D

have you ever been able to copy DVD's using this drive?

i dont think XP have drivers to write to DVD so you need a UDF driver such as this one
