I have just purchased a new wireless laptop from Dell. I cannot set it up as I cannot type in my email address. The problem being that when I press the @ key only the ' comes up. Can anyone tell me how to resolve this please, have spent the bank holiday weekend trying to resolve this

If your Keyboard is showing the wrong characters i.e. " instead of @ and # instead of £

try left Alt/Shift

Or go Start - Settings - Control Panel - Regional and Language Options - Languages - Details - and check it's set for English UK keyboard
