What do you mean exactly by surveillance softwares?

The two basic tools for malware and spyware detection are Spybot S&D and Adaware.

Is this what you have in mind?

I've never heard of such programs

Can you post a link to a news story or some other information on such programs?

In general if you have a Firewall you can control everything that goes in and out.

If you just want to detect if your computer has any keyloggers this can be done by posting a HijackThis log for our Pros over in that section:

Please follow the instructions HERE & then post your log in a new thread in the Spyware, Adware, Viruses and HijackThis Logs section.
    (Not in this section please).

Please specify what issues you appear to be experiencing along with your log.

Just a hint that your company may be the one who put this on your work computer so before you delet it do insure that you are not going to tick off the tech guys, this can be a very bad thing, if your ever want to play solitar again
aka, if your on a company computer check with your boss, or IT, or CT to insure that its ok to delete that stuff
