Play video games on a PC? Your kidding, right? My PC has Windows XP and I have so many "patches" and updates it's laughable. I thank God that I don't have to rely on a computer at work. The computer that I want is the system that they have on the TV show "24". Remember though, 24 is strictly entertainment. It would(computer)never work like that in real life. I do like fixing(at least try)my computer and have actually fixed a couple of problems. If we do decide to hook the computer back up when we move we'll probably buy a new one and I want to take the old one and tinker around with it. It's nice that computers are getting cheaper every year. Why take it somewhere and spend a couple of hundred dollars to fix it when I can buy a new one for $450 to $550?

Well I must have been lucky over the years. Started out with Win3.1. That comp still goes, same with the win95 one. I gave the WinME to my daughter for resumes etc and playing simple flash games. My youngest has my last comp running XP with only 256mb ram and a nvidia 8mb card. She plays Sims, Halo whatever she feels like on it.
Mine I am on now only has 256mb ram also. I don't really play games on it unless you count yetisports lol. I do a huge amount of graphics work on it though. Its not uncommon for me to have Photoshop, paintshop pro, word, frontpage and the internet all running at once.
Touches wood, have never really had any bsod or freezes.

LOL Tassie, your pc must definitely be a female then... being able to multitask. Mine is definitely a male version, one thing at a time if it's having a good day.

Hehe very funny. Nearly as funny as it opening in word. My pc hates word. Takes 5 mins for it to get loaded.

lol Jaynee your pc must be male. I can use hubby's laptop all day without a problem. He comes in and goes to open word and has to wait too or it messes up all his document settings.

I think the PCs at tech are female, I always have problems with them always locking up half way through online exams
