www.hotmail.co.uk Works fine for me, your Uni may have blocked hotmail for security purposes....

our school don't allow anything like that, they block all cookies and you cant get on hotmail, gmail or aol mail

i never did sort out the problem, i know the uni hasent banned www.hotmail.co.uk as i had used it on one of the networked pc's the week before. who knows why it wouldnt let me in... it did mean that i started some of my work, instead of waisting 3 hours chatting to my friend via email though.. so maybe it was a good thing.

    thanks for your help anyway

my uni dosent apear to have any blocking of websites set up ( not that i tried to get on anything dodgey, so i wouldnt know for sure, but it let me on my geocities site, which is ususally one of the sites banned by most places.. i suppose since everyone theres over 18 ( some of the students are as old as 50!) in theory we can look at what ever we want
