    Question Wireless Laptop

    hi, my sister is getting a new laptop and one of them that she was looking at said it had "wireless technology" or it was "wireless ready" she couldnt remember what it said exactly and i wasnt with her when she was reading it but i would just like to know can anyone tell me if she can use the internet in another house (from that info) i dont know ANYTHING else apart from that and it is packard bell
    PLEASE NOTE: we are on AOL broadband silver (we may have to change because there is no way that aol can to wireless!!!! they can't even do their software right!!)

    Also, with intel centrino you can connect to the internet wherever........ am i correct?

    My hubby has a wireless laptop and he can connect in internet cafes, wherever they offer wireless internet for a fee. You could connect in someones house if they give you access to their wireless modem but most people have security on this to stop bandwidth stealing.
