Hi
I'm having a lot of trouble playing games on my computer lately. My computer locks up completely solid, no ALT CTRL DEL, no alt tab, no nothing, while playing games. The strange thing is this ONLY happens after a certain period of time during cutscenes, cinematics, and menus. The computer never locks during gameplay.
I completely wiped my computer a few days ago, recently got Ad-aware and Spybot, as well as a virus scan. I wiped my computer BECAUSE of these problems and was hoping a clean start would fix it, but it didn't.
I still find it strange how things only lock up at menu screens, cinematics, and cutscenes but never during gameplay. I'm playing both Star Wars Jedi Academy and KOTOR, and the problem is persistant.

Does anyone have any idea whats going on?
Celeron 2.4ghz, 256 RAM, Radeon 9200se, all recent and upgraded drivers.

Hi, before you play try setting the native Windows display resolution to that of the game menu's, e.g. if your Windows display is set to 800X600X16 and the 3D game engine is using a similar setting but the menu's are using something like 1024X768X32 this can sometimes lead to lock-ups and crashes etc.
