I was thinking, what are agents good at. Gathering information, turning people, infiltration. How awesome would it be for the IA's mission arc to lead you to the republic side. You run some missions as "a republic" killing sith forces to gain the trust of the rep's then of course use that trust to place an explosive, or gather some secret information you can only get from the inside. Would you, as a sith player, like being able to shoot sith NPC'si at swtor4credits?

I brought up this idea on the podcast a while back and still think it would be a great way to distinguish the IA story line. Regarding being behind enemy lines, I actually guessed that players would be able to do some crazy political espionage on Coruscant originally. Unfortunately we now know that the capital planets are faction specific so I was wrong there.

I like the idea of infiltrating the Republic to gather intell on a Republic spy already in the Sith then assualting a Sith base to kill the spy. Killing the loyal troops along the way would simply be a necessary evil in the goal of rooting him/her out.

Another great one that comes to mind would be using Republic forces to help sway Sith political lines. Imagine a Sith Lord needs to be killed so Keeper can gain more power. Instead of attacking him with non-Force using Sith you gain Republic support and then use their commandos to help you take him out. At the end the Republic is blamed, Keeper increases influence, and the Force using Sith are none the wiser
