Level 22 Swtor Powertech, should I respec already?
I've been doing fine solo with mako doing small healing. But When I looked online more about powertech, alot of people say to do serious damage, you need retractable blade and focus in the prototype tier. swtor4credits.com
So, even though I am 22, should I respec to focus on that tier?
I find fighting some strong enemies at my level takes a long time. I don't take much damage but it does take a while.
I think my rotation is shot to bits, so advice there would be nice too.

To my understanding when you have a Green quailty pattern, when you reverse engineer it you get 1 of 3 possible upgrades in a Blue quality pattern. Correct?
When you RE that blue quality item do you then also have 3 further possible upgrades in a Purple quality pattern?
AND
Is that Purple quality pattern tied to the Blue or the Green pattern?
So working from 1 orginal Green, do you;
Have 3 Blue upgrades that RE to a further 9 Purple upgrades (for 12 upgrades total)
Have 3 Blue Upgrades that RE to a further 3 Purple upgrades (for 6 total) and are they an extension of the Blue or random based on the Green?
Its all al little confusing in my head so I hope that makes sense.

- In a lot of videos I actually saw Ambush and Snipe do pretty similar damage, and torhead also shows damage being equal. Yet your videos show that Ambush is the big hitter and Snipe the smaller hitter , which of course makes more sense. Is this simply due to scaling with stats. Is that just wrong on torhead and odd coincidence in the video; or is ambush scaling much better from stats?
As a theorycrafter in WoW I know there stats scaled depending on the cast time.
- You and a LOT of others tend to open up with ambush. Is this purely for the effect of surprise and layering burst? Because with Snap Shot / Reactive Shot and Laze Target isn't more beneficial to start with an instant snipe to knock that 1 second cast time off of Ambush ?
- Hooking in on that; how effective is weaving Ambush in your rotation? Is it too long a cast to just use on the fly and do you only use it with Reactive Shots proc; or did you feel the high damage warrants its use regardless.
- In regards to the Sniper Volley talent . I assume stacking it 3 times gives 9% alacrity for 6 seconds; but I've seen weirder things and the wording isn't exactly super clear either so can you confirm it still has a 6 second duration with 3 stacks, or does the time stack as well .
- Got any good priority list when it comes to skills. A cooldown and resource dependent class like we currently are works bad with rotation. So just wondering if you have any gut feeling on the ability priority.
- Last: Found out any nice tricks or out of the box thinking ?
For example in one of your attacks I saw you using explosive probe right as Ambush finished and that seemed to set it off right away (?)
