New rig: Minecraft issues regarding firefoxes flash or plugin container process
Hello,
I finally purchased a new rig, but how could i resist it was only $200 refurb.
(Specs)
Gateway
AMD Phenom 9150e Quad core 1.80 Ghz
4 GB ram
7900GTO
Win 7 32 bit
The reason I bought and repaired this PC is so I could multi task. I like to watch streaming video (Justin.tv for example) as I play games at the same time. I'm currently running 2 15" dual monitor(s).
For some odd reason with this new PC setup Minecraft 1.7 & 1.8 keeps crashing when I am attempting to play Minecraft and watch a live stream. But it doesn't crash like you would usually expect (complete shutdown of the process). I'll be playing then all a sudden it will go out of game and into a menu like screen that has a brown dirt background. It states "saving chunks" but its all glitched and blurry. Then the program goes unresponsive and I have to close. This happen about every 5-15mins on both versions.
The crashing does not happen when I am not multi tasking. So I think the suspect are somewhere far and inbetween java and firefox's flash/plugin container process.
I've tried a complete reinstall, dropping mods/saves in all. This is really putting a damper on my would be shenanigans to be had as there are alot of new features and mobs I want to ... experience.
Any advice would be appreciated,
Many thanks deviantdigi

As for "Don't open other games or programs that uses more than 80,000K memory". This works -.- but the point is to have minecraft stable while multi tasking.

Well I'm sorry but I don't know what to tell you. Perhaps you should try the mindcraft forum: Minecraft Forum
