I have been playing sims for years but I have replaced my games during the duration. I got most of my games 1 year ago. I started to put downloads into my game, but then I noticed my game started freezing. I removed all the downloads - The game still freezes. I thought it might be the repeated use of university disk. - I uninstalled all expansions/games everything, and re-installed all except for the university life collection pack. - The game still freezes. So this tells me it is not the disks that are the problem. The game loads I can build houses or community lots just fine, but when I try to play houses with sims in them, at a random time (early in play) the game freezes. I cannot click or do anything I must start task manager which says "Sims - Not responding" and then end the program. I honestly don't know why it keeps freezing and how to fix it. I have all sims expansion packs except for Glammor life stuff as well as the holiday pack and I currently do not have sims 2 University life Collection installed (This contains University, Ikea Home stuff, and Teen Style Stuff) I have no downloads in the game, and everything has been reinstalled as of 8/1/11 - I am using Windows 7. Thank you for any help you have to offer.

Why dont you take help from the Sim supporting team?
