Hello DAL
My games (EG. half life 2 and NFS: shift) will not crash in the menus or when the game is loading but WILL crash in the game play. The frame rate seems to slow right down and some times the screen will even blank out with the audio still playing until it crashes. but when i play a hacked version of COD: modern warfare, a hacked version of Mindcraft or editing 720p video on a video editor it works fine!

System specs
AMD phenom II X4 black edition (3.4gh/z)
3X 2GB DDR3 ram (6GB)
XFX nvidia geforce 250GTS 512GB (i think might be the problem.....)
650W PSU
500GB HDD

PS.And i have installed new drivers for the gpu and i have just recently upgraded my windows 7 OS from 32bit to 64bit(as i put a bit more RAM in).
