Supreme Commander: FA multiplayer issue.
Ok. So Supreme Commander uses a peer to peer matchmaking system requiring each user to be connected individually to each and every other user. When playing online, I found I was struggling to connect to 5/10 games, and then on top of that, 5/10 timed I COULD connect, someone in the lobby had a 'nil' ping.
I took steps to solve this issue (looked on the web) and found that a simple port forward and firewall management would solve the issue. I correctly set up the ports and connected them to my static IP address on this machine, I checked the ports with 'port checker.'
I allowed access of the GPGnet program and FA on my Norton Internet Security. I have also disabled Upnp on my home hub settings.
Still the problem of connecting and nil ping persists. Any ideas?

I checked that the ports were open using Port Checker, it says they are. However when I test with NATTrace it says my connection blocks UPD traffic.
One solution it gives is enabling DMZ but I can't seem to do that on a BT Home Hub.
Also does creating the static ip address using a network bridge make any difference?
