Hi again,

I have a Vista computer and I play a few games on it.

I've been playing Star Trek Armada II on it (yeah i know its a lil old :P). Ive been trying to play multiplayer with someone on one of my networked computers (XP, its in the same room). But when I click on LAN or try to join a game, a popup shows up and says "an error has occured", and shuts down.
I exempted the game from my firewall, and it works fine for multiplayer on the XP.

Do you have any idea on how to fix this issue? Do I need to register it or something?

Try it again and as soon as it crashes out, goto Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Event Viewer and see if there is an error in windows logs -> Application or System that looks like it relates to the game. Information ones aren't that helpful it's warnings or errors that we're interested in.
