my problem is that command & conquer red alert 3
wont run keeps asking if direct x 9 or higher is installed.or video card spec meets the requirements.
and is harware accelerator disabled.

direct x is installed and is working ok ,did all the tests
both other two things are ok as well.

From start menu click on run and the type in dxdiag. Click on the display tab and make sure that the 3 accelerators are enabled and that no problems are found and then run the tests. If you have already run those particular tests or they pass then I suggest that you download and install the newest graphics drivers. You must uninstall and then reboot before you install the newest drivers. If you tell me more info about your computer I might be able to help you find them. The best I could come up with are drivers from ATI. It is preferable to get the drivers from the card's manufacturer but I couldn't find it. If you know then you should get it from there.

If your computer passes the test & a driver reinstall doesn't work try to reinstall directx (download).
