I am playing th Lord of the Rings The Fellowship of the Rings on my windows vista laptop and there is this one part in the game in which I am supposed to find lillies for another character. the only problem is that I can't fins the lillies and in the quest menu the finding lillies does not come up. i am very frustrated and need to know why this quest is not coming up. I have tried to find game support but I had to finally give up. if no one can help me here, can someone give me suggestions as to where I can fix this problem?

I do not know the game but there are walk throughs (spoiler alert) such as:

Now that you met Tom, he asks you to gather twelve water lilies for Goldberry.
Tom will hop, skip, and jump around on his own little path so sort of follow
him. Many of the lilies will be within sight from where Tom goes so keep an
eye out for them. Beware because all of the lilies are being guarded by
spiders. Try your hardest not to lose sight of Tom because it's pretty hard to
find him again. If you can't find anymore lilies where Tom walks then you'll
have to go off searching. If you lose Tom then search for him near the stream.
Once you find 12 lilies then talk to Tom and he'll bring you to his house.

Do you think this is a problem in the game? The Quest Menu?
Or does the above scenario make any sense?

I think it might be a problem in the game or my computer not loading it properly. I have read the scenario but noe of that stuff happens when the game loads. thanks for helping, though.
