Ive downloaded gran turismo 4, i unzipped all the files, its in the form of an ISO, i use Daemon tools to run all my games in ISO form, but for some reason when i try to mount this game it takes me straight to my picture wizard instead of mounting the game. This is the first time ive ever had this problem. Is there another way to mount this game and run it w/ out having to burn it? The game is 4 1/2 gigs...i have no DVD burner. thanks...!

have you tried Alcohol? the mounting program? or turning off some of the functions from Daemon?

I dont think that Alcohol is much diff from Daemon tools, ive tried to set diff perimeters in Daemon.....still no luck ........still goes straight to the windows xp picture wizard when i mount the game.....hundreds of ppl have downloaded the same version that i did and all have good results. (according to there posts) My Daemon tools is working properly, ive mounted numerous other games and have played them.

Can you view the Properties of your download to verify that it is an .ISO file?

If it is triggering your picture wizard I would guess that the file association is being mislead in some way.

i checked the properties ...under file type it says "image file"....i checked the other games that i mount w/ Daemon tools and they say the same..."image files" and run just fine.....i gave it another go and still the same........picture wizard....but my other games run and mount ok......dont give up on me Jephree......i really want this game..........

I am not a gamer so don't really have much to add unfortunately.

I am very aware of burning ISO's but not directly loading them.

Is this a game that you bought? Or what is the on-line source? Perhaps we could see some ideas there.

i'm not exactly sure but i find that some games which Daemon cant run Alcohol might be able to. have you tried renaming it into another file type which daemon will be able to run too?

change it from .ISO to .RAR and mount with Daemon? no guarantees tho

That about sums it up.....seems theres a problem allover w/ this new game. That addy u gave me helped alot........ill keep trying to get it working, if i have any luck ill post so all the GT4 junkies can play as well ......thx!!!!! oh.......and alcohol didnt work either ...Daemon nor Alcohol will at this point fresh off the files...modifications have to be applied.....the game came in RAR form ....i dont see any reason to convert it back.....thx all!!!!!
