My game won't start!!!!!!!
I've been tryiing to play this korean game, called sudden attack. a few months ago i downloaded it and it worked fine, but now it won't do anything.
When i tried playing it, nothing happened so i went right to te application and clicked on it, but it said" suddenattackexe. application error, then the rest said "The instruction at "0x01fa2dne" referenced at "0x003f4344." The memory could not be read.
I don't get it, it worked fine a few months ago.
Please help

Have you tried downloading it again?
From this one article I see that they were planning on going to a subscription service.

Do not know if that is the issue here or not.

I already tried redownloading it, and I have a subscription it doesn't make sense

Did you uninstall it before re-installing?
See if you get any more detail in your Event Viewer:
Look in your Event viewer: rt. click My Computer then click Manage then Event Viewer.
Or: Administrative Tools/Event Viewer or Start/Run/ eventvwr
Open the system as well as the application tabs & look for red X errors. Click error line for details.
Post back the source & event id & Description especially of errors that seem to coincide with this issue.
Also check the Information lines that might coincide with this issue.

You can begin to get info on those errors via this site:
http://www.eventid.net/search.asp
Many times the Description line in the event viewer is just as informative.
"The instruction at "0x01fa2dne" referenced at "0x003f4344." The memory could not be read." is a very difficult error to pin-point but perhaps with these other errors something might add up.
I will look through that error list as soon as I have time. Perhaps you can find something on your own as well.
Do you have any other problems on this computer?
Do you always get the same error message when trying to start SuddenAttack?
Are the parameters always the same? "0x01fa2dne" referenced at "0x003f4344."

Yes, but I don't know how to look over the log, your an expert, im just a kid
-
Could it be spyware, because I'm not really good with computers?
-
I am not an expert but have some experience tracing these logs.
I will post back ASAP (it will take some time).
Also just to ask again: Did you uninstall this game before trying to reinstall it?
Also: Any other problems on this computer? Or just this game?
--------------------------
If it is just this game that is a problem I doubt that it is spyware but you should run AdAware and Spybot regularly anyway.
There is a good guide with downloads here:
