Fuzzy Screen

Re: Fuzzy Screen
it says i can add 2 one gig things of ram
so im pretty sure that would stop the lag hopefully
also if that doesnt work do you think i could cut lag down by putting warcraft on an external harddrive and just running it thru my laptop?
-
The RAM should help.
An external drive probably would not as your laptop data rate is most likely faster than a USB connection would be.
-
alright ill tell you if it works out thanks

Is the CD drive set in the BIOS to precede the HDD in the Boot Menu?
-
how do i get to the bios menu?
-
Most computers will show you on the first screen e.g. "Press Delete for Setup".
Most use Delete; some F2; if those don't work we can check the manual.
Also just by the way: did you ever ask your "friend" why he sold this laptop?
Was he having problems with it?
-
ok what do i do once im in set up?
im sorry im quite horrible with computers but you guys really help me out.
pretty much i think he just planned to screw me over cause he hasnt talked to me since

Look for a Boot Menu or Order.
Set the CD drive as the first boot device.
Save your changes and Exit.
Reboot with the Toshiba CD inside.
