    would the nvidia display drivers do anythin?\

    First off go to > start > control panel > add or remove programs > nvidia

    Choose remove then if prompted choose remove only display driver.

    After the computer reboots then install the nvidia driver from toshiba.

    hey man i was just wondering do you know if its possible to upgrade my nvidia card that i have for a faster running one?
    im not to sure how laptops work

    Most laptops have an on board graphics chip.

    A very few have replaceable cards.

    As far as I can see your Toshiba is on board.

    The only upgrade option I see is for RAM.

    Easy yes. There is a little "door" on the bottom of the laptop.

    Try this scan and let us know what it says:
