Games Crash to Desktop
Hey, this is my first post so I'm not sure what details or anything you need, so just let me know.. Anyway I'm a first time PC builder and built my PC back in Feb09, since then Iv'e had no problems until about 4 days ago when my computer became clearly riddled with viruses.. it took me some time to be able to install new virus malware and spyware pretection as my computer ran slower than a snail. Now all seems to be getting back to normal and 3 virus protection software programs i have report no viruses.. However my computer still seems to be running slowly and randomly crashing to windows desktop during games!! Can you please, please help me!!
Here are some details of my PC
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU Q6600 @ 2.40GHz
L2 Cache: 4,096 KB
Memory: 3,584 MB
Motherboard: Gigabyte Technology co., Ltd. EP31-DS3L
Graphics Card: Nvidia Geforce 9600 GT
I'm Running Windows XP Professional
And am using PC Tools Internet Security, Avisa Home Edition Security, and Malwarebytes Anti-Malware.
So All seems to be fine as far as the anti-virus software is concerned but now my Pc is just running alot slower than before and I could really use some help Please.
Thanks
Scott Spencer

First off you should only run one anti virus program and I advise not using anything else.
Avast is good; free; and easy on the system. That and the Windows firewall should be all anyone needs.
In a worse case scenario you could run a Repair Install.
