I've been trying to load my game for the past 30min. I clicked the icon and clicked play. But it just does a cd icon on the cursor and does nothing. when I try again it says its already running. What should I do?

Is this a new problem? Did it work ok before?

Open your Task Manager > Processes tab

To open the Task Manager right click on an "empty" area of the bottom Task Bar and choose Task Manager.

Look for a sims.exe then right click it and choose End Process and say yes to the warning.

After ending the process try starting again.

Worked ok before. But it just started now.

Did you try the Task Manager?
