Dear D-A-L:

Well my computer is 3 years old now but I bet CS:S should be older than my computer. Well the specs I got for my PC is:

Sony Vaio VGC-RA840G
Pentium(R) D CPU 2.80 GHz
2.00 GB of RAM
512MB ATI Radeon X1800

I checked the recommended system requirement for CS:S and it only needs 2.4GHZ, so this is what I dont' understand: I only runs at FPS of 50 to 60. This is bad because most of the bullets don't register. I know that updating to a C2D will increase dramatically the performance, but that thing came after CSS, so a CPU older than C2D should at least runs it at 100fps right? Can any1 help me clarify this doubt I always had? Thanks a lot in advance!

try running everything on low...if that doesnt work i reccomend googling casesy config and putting that in the cfg folder

But the problem is that it shouldnt suppose to need any script aid to boost its performance :S shouldn't it be smooth by default with the system requirement I have.
