    MapleStory
    --------------------------------------------------
    Begin by reading the following section of This Guide.

    I just quote the preliminaries. Scroll down the page for information of detecting your hardware and locating the proper drivers.

    [3.0.0] MapleStory

    [3.1.0] MapleStory Errors

    [3.1.1] "Failed in finding proper screen mode for Gr2D"

    This section would be helpful to you if:

    --> you have reinstalled Windows recently on your computer;
    --> you have never played MS on your computer before;
    --> you are trying to run MS in a virtual machine (jump to [3.1.1.6] now);

    This section does not apply to you if:

    --> MS worked on your computer before but you have not reinstalled Windows between now and the previous time it worked;
    --> MS worked on your computer before but due to a patch or a GameGuard update, it no longer works;

    If the last two applies to you, I suggest you do some universal fixes right now: reboot, reinstall the client, redownload and reinstall the client, system restore to an earlier point where it does work, and/or email Wizet (but make sure you mention that MS worked previous to a patch or whatever event that made it not work). It also wouldn't hurt to try these sections, but you will have a lesser chance of getting it to work compared to the people these sections are written for.

    That error indicates that your graphics hardware and or software is inadequate for the game.

    I don't know if it runs on Mac's at all.

    You can try this scan:

    Can you run it ..............................................

    Can You RUN It?

    hey,
    that rally helped. It says i need a 3d video card but i dunno where to get one. Im running windows on parallel desktop so i have a parallel video card which is not supported. do you have any idea where and if i could download maybe even a trail version of 3d acceleration video card.

    That is hardware not software.

    We need to know the make and model of the computer and or the motherboard in order to determine a compatible card.

    Anyway it is hardware that goes inside the computer.

    Bootcamp is a feature of Mac Leopard:

    Apple - Mac OS X Leopard - Features - Boot Camp

    That's how you get it.

    Once you have it you then need a retail version of XP.

    Bootcamp is an application on Mac computers with the Leopard operating system.

    You need a Mac computer with the Leopard operating system.

    On top of that you need a retail version of Windows XP in order to use bootcamp.

    Bootcamp allows one to run XP on a Mac.

    Nothing about any of it is free. Sorry
