wait i downloaded that earlier and it didnt work

The link from HP was the original driver for your laptop.

The link from ATI was the latest version.

I would try the HP link if you have not already.

They are different versions of the same driver.

ok so now it says vga compatible cuz i havnt downloaded anything does that mean i can get nvida or do i still have to have ati
