I've downloaded and installed Maple Story 2 days ago. After running everything needed, I was able to get into the program. I was able to log in to my account, and was able to choose the worlds/servers, but after choosing the servers, it came to the "create a character" screen. It appears to be flashing none stop and I cant make a character. I was not able to see the character on the screen and it keeps flashing and flashing......I don't know what's the problem here....please help me!!

Do you know what your graphics card is?

If so make sure you have the latest drivers.

Also run this scan for Maple Story: "Can I Run It?":

I've tested it. Both minimum and recommended passed. 2 systems not updated, so are these 2 problems causing the problem? The problems are not having updated video card driver version and sound card driver version. Anyway, thanks for replying =)

Do you know what video card you have?

If not go to the Device Manager and look under Display Adapter.

Right click My Computer then click Manage then Device Manager.

I got this : NVIDIA GeForce4 MX 440 with AGP8X

Download this:

Save it to your Desktop.

Then go to start > Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs > NVIDIA

Click that and choose Remove. If prompted choose Graphics driver only.

After it is removed reboot the computer and go to your desktop and click the new driver you Downloaded and Saved there.

After it installs you can go back and set your resolution as it will have become quite large during the change.

Lol! I was shocked when my computer went all large and so on....At first I was worried that my computer would stay like that forever, my father will scold me...haha. Well, I've installed the program you've told me and I did, but still, the screen is relatively large....So I explored and found the way to resolution my screen and it's back to normal again, Yay! And guess what.....I can play Maple Story again!!!!! Woohooo!!!! jephree, you're the coolest! Thank you sooooooo much! Saw you post many replies for other people, you're such a good person, how I ever gonna repay you...You saved my life from boredom during holidays, I could have die soon if I still can't play Maple Story.
