i have just bought the nvidia7300gt agp 256mb graphics card the card seems to be working fine on still images and video but when i play computer games i.e. call of duty 4 gears of war, bio shock.
I have problems with alot of detail missing in the charctors and big blocks of scenary in the game that shouldnt be there. Is my card faulty or is it likely to be ram issues? or installation problems i'm really lost. i have updated the drivers?
Specs Are; 2.66ghz, 1gb ram, 25ogb hdd 7200rpm(games r installed on)
any help or advice would be most gratefull has any one else had the same problems.
even call of duty 2 has slight problems like i described above and that game ran flawlessly on my old fx5500 128mb g/card

Check the diagnostic tools under dxdiag

start > Run... > dxdiag > Display

yes i have done the dxdiag tests and no problems where found? any other ideas?
crysis works fine (which is a very demanding game) but have problems with the likes of bioshock and call of duty 4 and gears of war.

p.s. crysis doesnt have these problems but my other games do?
i'm guessing its drivers or something but dont know where to start

If the latest driver is installed properly then try some "Legacy" drivers. Nvidia lists them under: Product Type: Legacy

Also it is necessary to remove your current driver before installing a new one. This is done via the Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs > Nvidia > Graphics (Display) drivers.

If the problems persist I would return the card.
