I played several hours tonight as Medic and received many complements.

As with life confidence and the risk it allows you are so key.

This is a very educational game!

That looks like a good idea that could attract some people. It's good to have an open server for people to just come in and play around!

And anyone from D-A-L could put it in their names! Something like... [D-A-L] Jephree ? I would put it in my name, but im currently in a clan...but anytime i see some people in it ill for sure join you!

Free Team Fortress 2 Update Coming Thursday

On Thursday, February 14 at 11 am PST, all PC versions of Team Fortress 2, the class-based multiplayer action game named PC Game of the Year by Gamespy.com, will receive its largest update since the product was first made available on October 10, 2007, as part of Valve's best-selling Orange Box compilation.

The free update includes global optimizations for networking, graphics, and player statistics, plus improvements to Source TV for tournament viewing.

In addition, three of the currently available maps (Dustbowl, Granary, CTF_Well) have been iterated for enhanced performance and gameplay.

The release is headlined by the introduction of “Badlands,” a new map that pushes control-point gameplay onto vertical landscapes.

I have updated the server to the latest update.

Badlands is now in rotation.

If anyone wants to try out Badlands let me or messyjesse know and we can load the map manually (out of rotation).

I think there is a week left on the first month of this server. May let it go after next week.

I am paying for this server. Nothing to do with DAL other than my posted references which was the idea to begin with. Traffic.

Anyway it has been rarely used but I will pay another month if:

Some member donates the equivalent of $36.00 USD to this forum i.e. D-A-L.com

This would be like a matching fund as they do in fund raisers. I am still personally paying for the server and your donation goes to D-A-L (this forum) not me.

I will do this on a monthly basis if anyone will match.

If you do so I will also add what you like (within reason) to the displayed messages on the server.
