Yeah. I've been playing since it came out back in September. I am not very good.

I never played multiplayer before this and my keyboard skills are not too good.

Have any tips on how to improve one's keyboard skills?

Anyway full servers are very intense! Plus playing with hard core teams is quite breath taking and heart pounding.

Most really good players are helpful as to tactics etc. Communication (headset) is a very important dimension.

The D-A-L server has been a good place to practice. Maybe someday it will draw a larger regular crowd.

Steam Update:

TF2 update: you may’ve heard that new achievements, maps, and unlockable items are on the way. The first map, Goldrush, introduces a new game mode. The BLU team must escort a high-tech mining cart through a series of checkpoints to the RED base within a time limit. The more BLU players near the cart, the faster the cart moves. The cart stops if any RED team member is in the vicinity. We’re balancing the map now; look for it within the month.

D-A-L clan.

I do not really understand the "clan" thing. Is it just a matter of adding [DAL] to our game name?

Anyway I see many clans with no servers and we have a server with no clan.

I can post on other TF2 forums of our "clan" if we had one.

You guys know how this works? Fill me in.

Been playing on this really "Pro" Texas server which is fun and educational.

Fortunately they tolerate me.

I think you create a clan without just typing it infront. I'll look into. -> I had a little look but didn't really find anything.

I've been playing with my cousin who lives with me, very fun.

I think it may also have options to "rights" to the server.

In other words we can allow the "clan" specific rights to join the server over others.

Not that there is much of a demand at this point in time.

We could open it to another clan but I'm trying to get this setup for DAL whatever that is.

I have to buy this game! I'll try and get on this weekend just have a few work commitments I need to sort first!

I would just keep playing with lots of people. You WILL eventually just get better!
